WeLoveLakeStreet
Recovery Fund Oversight Committee

In order to help disburse these funds, we have convened a WeLoveLakeStreet Fund Oversight Committee. They have been tasked with determining how the funds raised through this website will be used to support small business recovery. The committee, coordinated by the Lake Street Council, will make decisions about funding priorities, guidelines, and the application and review processes for business grants.

Many Lake Street businesses are owned by immigrants and people of color, and the Lake Street Council is committed to ensuring that our support is accessible to all businesses and has an equitable impact. As we work to allocate and distribute these funds, we will focus on helping the hardest-hit and most vulnerable businesses in our community, which disproportionately includes immigrant and POC-owned businesses.
